Omaha EmPower Breakfast

August 14 at 6:45 AM

25 years of bringing people together!

Why We Are Different

Focused on You: From Featured Speakers to table conversations, many people have a chance to speak at an emPower Breakfast. Experts, Sponsors, regular attendees ... and You! We try to give everyone a chance to share their stories...

An Intimate Event: We aren’t looking for hundreds to attend - our events feel like you could meet everyone if you tried.

Non-commercial: The emPower Breakfast does not promote any specific product, the presentations are not sales pitches. Our monthly event is non-membership and public; focused on fun and relationship building.

We finish on time: We pace our event quickly, so there’s never a dull moment!

What is YOUR Legacy? Using Themes from my memoir including the power of connection & community and the lessons that shape who we become, we will touch on these 3 points: 1 What "Legacy" Means: Legacy isn't just what you leave after you're gone — it's what you build as you go. We will challenge the idea that legacy applies to 'older' or 'successful' people and look at how daily choices affect our imprint on the world. 2. Live with Purpose, Not Just Productivity: A busy life isn't the same as a meaningful one. We'll identify our 'why' and align our goals with our values 3. Build a Reputation of Character & Integrity: Your personal brand is your legacy in motion. We'll talk about integrity, reliability and authenticity and how it builds trust. The way you make people feel becomes part of your story long after you've left the room. ***** NOTE: I would be willing to share this topic at Sarpy Empower Breakfast also.

Becky Phipps is a force for good. A master connector, strategic thinker, and champion for others, she draws on her experience with Mastercard, Travelex, AAA and the Greater Omaha Chamber to guide entrepreneurs, mentor young professionals, and deliver engaging keynotes and workshops. As the author of her memoir, Reflections on Life, Love, and Lessons Learned at the Pool, her work centers on the power of connection, community, and living a life that leaves a legacy. After all, she's known for leading by example and for showing that vulnerability is strength, storytelling is power, and growth happens where it's least expected. She and her husband, Barry, are longtime Omaha residents. Though they love to travel and have done so extensively, there is no place like home! They frequently attend concerts and sporting events; and they enjoy spending time with family in Nebraska and Eastern Iowa.

As a FranNet franchise broker & consultant, my role is to provide education about the franchise world, assist you with determining if franchise ownership is right for you, and to identify franchise businesses that will offer you the best opportunity for success. I work with Corporate Refugees, aspiring entrepreneurs, and Serial Entrepreneurs looking to expand their business ownership portfolio. These brokerage services come at no cost to you. Your investment, instead, is serious time and dedication to a process that can have life-changing outcomes. With nearly 4,000 franchise concepts to choose from, finding the right franchise opportunity on your own can be inefficient and overwhelming. If you are tired of building someone else's dream and want to create your own, I am here to help you. Because you will miss 100% of the shots that you never take!

SPEAKER

Speak at the emPower breakfast

Promote Your Business to a Wider Audience

There are two options for speaking at an emPower Breakfast event:

Featured Speakers

Being a featured speaker provided the business or individual to shine for 15 minutes. You want to follow similar guidelines as a 3-minute speaker. You need to make sure you provide good information that is relevant to most attendees on a topic that you are a thought leader on. Here you can bring a presentation and use the A/V system.

NOTE: Filling out the form places you into the queue to be a speaker. You will be notified of the month and day when you will be assigned. Use the Message field to make any special requests: Month, AV, etc.

Share Your Business With a 3-Minute Presentation At No Cost

Each month, there are opportunities to tell the group a little more about yourself by doing a 3-minute presentation on you and your business.

This is more than just an elevator speech – it’s an opportunity to share more information about who you are, what you do, and how you can help any of the people attending the emPower Breakfast.
