About Jay Miralles:

Jay Miralles, born and raised in San Francisco, CA, has had a diverse career. He served in the Air Force for 10 years, worked as a radio personality for a decade, and has a strong IT background. In addition to his professional experience, Jay is an accomplished author, podcaster, and speaker. Jay has made a significant impact in Omaha through his role as co-founder of several influential organizations, including Center Sphere and Business 4 Business.

In 1998, when Jay was honorably discharged from the service, he went through a hard transition period which many service people experience.  His own story is the reason he

co-founded the 50 Mile March Foundation.  Jay now proudly calls Omaha his home.

About the 50 Mile March Foundation:

The 50 Mile March Foundation empowers Veterans facing mental health challenges and homelessness by fostering a community of hope and relentless support.  Founded in 2020, the 50 Mile March seeks to create awareness and a unique fundraising vehicle for our community to support Veterans.  What began as 6 individuals walking 50 miles from our state's capital city to Omaha with a goal to raise awareness and funds, to our 2024 march which saw148 walkers and nearly $600,000 in funds raised, our goal remains the same...  THEY SERVED FOR US, WE MARCH FOR THEM.   Funds raised support our grantmaking efforts and the Community of Hope campus project.
